Bourbonnais

Bourbonnais is a college town, home to Olivet Nazarene University, whose campus hosted the Chicago Bears' summer training camp for nearly two decades.

The university keeps the town younger and busier than its neighbors, and Perry Farm Park along the Kankakee River gives it the kind of riverfront green space the corridor towns to the north do not have.

Subdivisions here were built for families, high schoolers attend Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, and Kankakee County taxes keep the monthly payment honest.
